Templenoe 3-9 Waterville B 2-16

Waterville B edged out Templenoe B in an entertaining game played in Dromore last Friday.

Watervile got off to a dream start with a goal. Noel O'Sullivan replied for Templenoe with a point. Waterville went ahead by 4 points before scores by Denis O'Neill and John Moriarty left Waterville 1-4 to 0-3 ahead. Waterville then increased their lead  by 4 to 1-8 to 0-3.

Templenoe had points from Noel O'Sullivan and Timmy Clifford, before Waterville struck for their second goal. Then Templenoe put  a good move together which saw Timmy O'Sullivan go through for a well taken goal. Timmy O'Sullivan added another point to leave the score Templenoe 1-6 Waterville 2-8 at half-time.

Templenoe started the second-half with a superb goal by Timmy Clifford and a point from Daniel O'Neill. A second goal Timmy Clifford goal put Templenoe in front. Both sides exchanged points, before Waterville hit 3 points to put them ahead 2-12 3-8. Danny Quinn leveled, but Waterville finished stronger, kicking the last 4 points of the match.
