Templenoe marched on to the semi final of the Co. U-21 Club Championship after a comprehensive victory over a Annascaul/Lispole combination played in Lispole on Wednesday evening.
Templenoe lead at the interval by 0-7 to 0-3 with points by Brain Crowley, Danny Cahalane, Martin Reilly and Cian Hallisse(4).
Two points early in the second half for the losers reduced the margin, but the winner’s response was empathic with an unanswered 2-1. Brian Crowley hit over a score which was followed by a goal from Cian Hallissey after a good move, soon after Teddy Doyle pulled on the ball for the second goal. While Annascaul/Lispole got scores to keep in touch, Adrian Spillane first from a free then from a 45 and Teddy Doyle from play rounded off a good Templenoe display
