An impressive second half display gave Templenoe victory in their last home league match of the year.
Templenoe opened the scoring with Brian Crowley, Gavin Crowley and Tadhg Morley putting Templenoe 0-03 to 0-00 ahead. Ballymac opened their account through a free and got their second through their wing back scoring a point from play. Denis O Neill got a point from Templenoe but Ballymac again responded with a free. Shane Cremin was next to score for Templenoe with a left legged point, but Ballymac started to gain the upper hand and score the last two points of the half. Templenoe, who were playing against a slight breeze in the second half started far better and got points from Cian Hallissey (0-02), Adrian Spillane, Killian Spillane (0-02) and Teddy Doyle putting Templenoe ahead 0-11 to 0-07 ahead half way through the second half. Ballymac got a solitary point in the second half but Templenoe pulled ahead at the end with scores from Kieran McCarthy, Cian Hallissey & Stephen O Sullivan to insure the victory.
