The Kenmare District lost the first round of the Keanes Super Value Killorglin Minor Championship last night (28/06/11) in Castleisland. Final score was St. Kierans 1-11, Kenmare District 0-11.
As a result, the Kenmare District now play in the losers round of the championship. The draw for this was also made last night with the Kenmare District being drawn at home to play South Kerry. This game is fixed to be played next tuesday night (05/07/11) in Templenoe at 7:30pm. In the event of a draw, extra time will be played. The winner of this round will go into the quarter finals of the championship.
