Templenoe 0-13 Kilgarvan 0-04
The 1st round of the Kenmare District Board league went ahead on Saturday last in very difficult weather conditions in Templenoe.
The sides were level at half time at 0-04 each, Patrick Palmer , Brian Crowley and Sean Sheehan were on target for Templenoe while Paul Gleeson and Sean Gleeson found the range for Kilgarvan. Templenoe goalkeeper Anthony Sheehan made a gereat save to keep a clean sheet in the first half. Templenoe had the wind advantage in the second half and used it to better effect. Templenoe had points from Patrick Palmer, Adrian Spillane, Sean Sheehan, Mike Hallissey and 2 superb points from Denis O' Neill.
