Templenoe 0-13, Renard 1-06
A late flurry of points gave Templenoe a good victory over Renard in Templenoe last Saturday evening.
The first half was even enough, but Templenoe used the wind in the 2nd half to their advantage.
Renard opened the scoring through Liam O'Sullivan. Templenoe replied with Danny Cahalane's left footed effort going over, this was followed with a pointed free from Patrick Palmer. Then a good move from Templenoe saw wing back Gavin Crowley slot over point number three, putting Templenoe 0-3 to 0-1 in front. David O'Sullivan of Renard and Templenoe's Shane Cremin exchanged scores, before Cian McCrohan had the last point before the interval, leaving the half time score Templenoe 0-4 Renard 0-3.

Teddy Doyle scored the first point of the second half, before Renard responded with two frees from Darragh O'Neill and Liam O'Sullivan to tie the match at 0-5 each. Patrick Palmer put Templenoe in front again with a point from play and another from a free kick. Then an attack from Renard saw a shot from David O'Sullivan hitting the crossbar, before the incoming Cian McCrohan fisted the ball to the net for a goal to Renard. Templenoe's captain Shane Cremin leveled matters, before Patrick Palmer restored Templenoe's lead with a converted free. Renard equalized again through Liam O'Sullivan who landed a free over the bar. After that Templenoe picked up a gear and two great points from Brian Crowley were followed with another from Danny Cahalane to put Templenoe ahead by 0-12 to 1-6. Renard tried hard for another score, but Templenoe defended well. Patrick Palmer had the final score of the game, when he slotted over a free kick to leave the final score Templenoe 0-13 Renard 1-6.
