Paudie Palmer Memorial Match:
The Valley Rovers V Templenoe senior game to commemorate Paudie Palmer, a man close to the hearts of both clubs, will take place this Sunday, 25th February at 2pm in Brinny, Innishannon.
It promises to be a great occasion and everyone is welcome to attend.
Keane’s Super Valu County Minor League Div 3B Round 1:
St Senans 3-03, Na Fianna 2-12. Na Fianna is the designated name for Templenoe/Tuosist/Sneem/Derrynane. Well done to our minor footballers on getting league campaign off to good start.
Na Fianna are due to have home venue against Firies in round 2 of the County Minor League this weekend.
Allianz and Lidl National Leagues:
As we approach the halfway stage in the National Leagues, Kerry have two wins out of three in the Allianz football league Division 1. Last Saturday evening’s game against Mayo was Tadhg Morley’s 40th league appearance for Kerry, Adrian Spillane was introduced late on, with Kerry just about getting over the line. Killian Spillane who played in the opening round against Derry is currently out injured. Elsewhere, our former players Pat Spillane and Teddy Doyle continue to feature for Sligo and Tipperary respectively. Sligo have two wins out of three in Division 3, while Tipperary have had one win, one draw and one loss in Division 4. In the Lidl National Football League Division 1 the Kerry ladies remain unbeaten after 3 games, with our former player Amy Harrington among those to impress in the opening rounds. Last but not least, Doireann O’Neill and the Kerry U16s girls had another good result in the Munster U16 A Championship with a 0-06 to 0-09 win away to Tipperary last Sunday.
Healthy Club Walk:
