EirGrid All-Ireland U20 Football Championship Final:
Very best of luck to our own Aidan Crowley, Kenmare Shamrock’s Darragh O’Connor, the Kerry U20s footballers and management against Tyrone in the All-Ireland U20 Final this weekend. It’s the first time that Kerry have reached an All-Ireland Final at this level since 2008. Last Templenoe player to win an All-Ireland medal with Kerry at U20/U21 grade was Mick Spillane back in 1977.
All-Ireland Senior Football Championship – Group 4:
Best of luck to Tadhg, Adrian, Killian and the Kerry senior footballers against Monaghan in the first round of the group stages at Fitzgerald Stadium this Saturday.
Credit Union County SFL Division 2, Round 7 Fixture:
Austin Stacks V Templenoe at Connolly Park, Tralee this weekend – Date and time TBC.
Underage Football:
Kellehers Garage Central Region U17 Div 1B result: Na Gaeil 2-12, Na Fianna 1-14.
Lee Strand County U15 League, Division 6 semi-final result: Na Fianna 2-16, Knocknagoshel 4-06.
Lee Strand County U13 League – Na Fianna A and B teams were in action last weekend against Churchill and Kerins O’Rahillys respectively. Although neither our A or B teams came out the right side of the results, both teams played well and fought to the end, which will stand to them well as they commence phase 2 of the county league.
Well done to Timmy O’Mahony and Adam Leonard who were part of the U10 Kenmare team that made it to the semi-finals of the Kerry Community Games, Gaelic football tournament recently
