Templenoe GAA Lotto:
The numbers drawn on Monday, 9th September were 2, 11, 20 and Bonus no. 4. No Jackpot Winner. Congratulations to our spot prize winners: ROK Voucher Denis Cronin (Crookstown), €50 Dan O’Sullivan (Bohacullia).
The Jackpot for our Lotto draw on Monday, 15th September was €13,800.
It is now three years since we launched our Club lotto, so many of our yearly Lotto Ticket Holders will have their last draw this month. You can renew your Yearly ticket for €120 on-line by visiting www.klubfunder.com/Clubs/Templenoe/lotto , where we also have an auto renew option or by contacting any Club officer.
All money raised goes towards the funding and development of the Templenoe GAA teams, facilities and the financing of the club’s land purchase from two years ago. We sincerely thank everyone for their ongoing support.
Thanks also to the Blackwater Tavern, Super Valu, Centra and Maureens for facilitating the sale of our lotto tickets. Finally, a big thank you to the Ring of Kerry Golf Club for their continued sponsorship for one of our weekly spot prizes.
Garvey’s SuperValu County Senior Football Championship:
Templenoe 0-11, Feale Rangers 0-10. Well done to our senior footballers who dug deep to come from behind to edge out a spirited Feale Rangers by the minimum last Sunday (see sports section for match report).
Templenoe will play Shannon Rangers in round 2 at 3pm on Sunday, 22nd September in Fitzgerald Stadium. All support welcome and encouraged.
Balance Training for Bone Health & Osteoporosis:
New HSE led Balance and Bones class. Cost €50, paid at the beginning: 8 sessions. Starts on Thursday, 26th September at 4pm in Templenoe Community Centre. All standing exercises. No equipment required. Targeting the over 65 age group initially, but open to all. Very popular in Kenmare last year. Please contact Brigid to book at 087-9778163.
South Kerry Bord Na nOg Fixtures:
U15 League A Final: Na Fianna V Waterville/Dromid is provisionally fixed for Sunday, 22nd September. Time and venue TBA.
U13 Plate Final: Na Fianna V St Marys/Valentia/Waterville/Dromid is provisionally fixed for Sunday, 29th September. Time and venue is TBA.
U15 Championship Semi-Final: Na Fianna V Waterville/Dromid is provisionally fixed for Sunday, 13th October at Sneem GAA Grounds.
Kenmare Golf Club 3 Brothers Tournament 2024:
Congratulations to John Joe, Geoffrey, and Pat O’Mahony on winning this year’s Brothers Golf Tournament, which took place at Kenmare Golf Club last weekend.

Templenoe GAA Golf Classic 2024 Results:
Templenoe GAA Club wishes to thank everyone who took part in this weekend’s Golf Scramble and to all those who sponsored a tee, a green and a prize. Special thanks to the club’s main sponsor’s Ring of Kerry Golf Club for the use of their facilities and to the Killarney, Kenmare Cahersiveen Credit Union for sponsoring the tournament. Lastly, we express our gratitude to all who helped with the running of the event in particular to Timmy Clifford who did a lot of the organising work.

Templenoe GAA Golf Classic 2024:
Templenoe GAA Club are holding our annual Golf Classic in association with Killarney, Kenmare, Cahersiveen Credit Union and The Ring of Kerry Golf Club from Friday, 30th August to Sunday, 1st September. This three-person scramble at €150 per team is taking place at the Ring of Kerry Golf Club and has a prize fund of over €3,000. All are welcome to participate.
