Templenoe and Tuosist played out a very entertaining and high scoring encounter on Saturday in Templenoe before a large crowd.
Tuosist opened the scoring through the boot of Alan O Sullivan (free) and Liam O Shea after 5 mins. Templenoe replied through a free from Cian Hallissey after 7 mins. Mike Tim O Sullivan worked his way in for Tuosist third point, before Tadhg Morley equalised with two points from play after good work form Donal Casey and Shane Cremin. Frees were exchanged by Cian Hallissey and Alan Sullivan, before Cian Hallissey converted a free to put a point between the teams. Templenoe 0-05, Tuosist 0-04. Mike Pat O Sullivan and Thomas Harrington were both on target for Tuosist. Brian Crowley and Peter O Shea swapped points before a super point by Templenoe’s captain Shane Cremin levelled the match at 7 points a piece. Templenoe went in front with points from Kerry minors Adrian Spillane and Brian Crowley with 28 mins gone. Tuosist finished the half with three points through Dermot O Sullivan, Alan O Sullivan and Mike Tim O Sullivan. Half time score Templenoe 0.09, Tuosist 0.10
Templenoe got off to a great start in the second half with points form Adrian Spillane (2), Cian Hallissey and Denis O Neill inside the first 5 mins. A free from Alan O Sullivan after he was fouled was answered by Cian Hallissey and a Brian Crowley free ten mins into the second half. Templenoe increased their lead to 5 points when Cian Hallissey fired over from play. Alan O Sullivan kept Tuosist in touch with two scores, before Adrian Spillane finished a good move from Templenoe with a point from play. Tuosist Dermot O Sullivan got in for a fine score, however Denis O Neil chipped in for the final score of the day. Templenoe had a late chance of goal but Tuosist goalie Steve O Sullivan did well to defect a shot by Joey Sheehan for a 45.

Templenoe 1-14 Beale 0-07
A goal from the penalty spot by Kerry minor, Brian Crowley set up Templenoe for a comprehensive win over Beale at Templenoe on Saturday evening in a match played in very damp conditions
Beale opened the scoring through centre half forward James McMahon in side 3 minutes, however Templenoe drew level within a minute with Cian Hallissey on target. This was followed with by point by Gavin Crowley who scored from the right hand side while under pressure. Patrick Palmer converted a free after Tadhg Morley was fouled in the 7th minute. The decisive score of the game came when Brian Crowley was hauled down as he went through on goal. Brian converted the penalty to leave the score half way through the first half Templenoe 1-03, Beale 0-01.
Templenoe added points from John Spillane and Patrick Palmer before Ian Blake raised the white flag for Beale. Templenoe’s Captain Shane Cremin sent over a great point from 40meters and this was followed by a Patrick Palmer free. With half time approaching Beale’s corner forward Tom Joy send over a point from an acute angle to leave the half time score Templenoe 1-07, Beale 0-03
Denis O Neill opened the second half scoring which was answered by a point from Ian Manix. The next two scores came to Templenoe with Sean Sheehan and Denis O Neill both scoring from play. Beale responded with two points from Ian Blake but Templenoe’s corner back Daniel O Neill fired over after a good move up the field. Another free from Ian Blake brought Beale’s total to 7 points. Late points by John Moriarty, John Rice and Tadhg Morley gave Templenoe a good victory.

Templenoe B 1-10 Skellig Rangers B 4-08
Templenoe B’s second round match of the junior league was played in a constant downpour last Friday in Dromore. The match was close up until the last ten minutes with Skellig Rangers pulling away towards the end. Templenoe lead by 0-03 to 0-01 with Patrick Palmer, Timmy Clifford and Timmy O Sullivan scoring. Skellig Rangers responded with their opening goal but further points from Patrick Palmer and Jerry Nash put Templenoe in the lead again. Both sides exchanged points but Skellig Rangers struck for two goals just before the break to leave the half time score Templenoe 0-08 Skellig Rangers 3-03.
Templenoe opened the second half with a great gaol by Patrick Palmer. Skellig Rangers responded with points from play and a free. Denis O Neill and Timmy Clifford added to Templenoe’s total to leave the score Templenoe 1.10 Skellig Rangers 3-06. Two more Skellig Rangers points towards the end was followed by a late goal to leave the final score Templenoe 1-10 Skellig Rangers 4-08

Templenoe and St Mary’s played in Dromore on Friday in the junior league. St Marys lead by 0-06 to 0-01 after 15 mins with Templenoe point by Timmy Clifford. However scores by John Rice, Noel O Sullivan, Denis O Neill and Timmy Clifford put a point difference in the game, 0-06 to 0-05. St Marys got a breakaway goal to end a period of dominance by Templenoe. Both teams exchanged points, with John Rice scoring for Templenoe. Just before the half time whistle St Marys got a 2nd goal to leave the half time score, Templenoe 0-07, St Marys 2-07
The second half was dominated by St Mary’s, and they got a third goal after 8 mins. Templenoe had points from Timmy Clifford, John Rice and a great Mike Crowley effort, but St. Marys held on for a good win.
