While Templenoe/Sneem/Derrynane/Tuosist B vs Laune Rangers B is due to take place on Friday, 1st April.

County U13 League Div 7 Rd 2 Fixture:

Templenoe/Tuosist U13s round 1 match vs St Michaels/Foilmore last weekend was postponed. Round 2 vs Annascaul/Lispole is fixed for 6pm Sunday, 3rd April in Templenoe.

County MFL Div 6B Rd 5:

Renard/St Mary’s vs Templenoe/Sneem/Derrynane/Tuosist is due to be played next Monday, 4th April.

South Kerry SFL Rd 3,

Templenoe 5-11, Dromid Pearses 1-10.

Our senior footballers had their first win of the year last Sunday at home to Dromid Pearses. Four first half goals from Sean Sheehan, Brian Crowley (2) and the impressive Aidan Crowley paved the way for a comprehensive victory. By half time Templenoe were 4-8 to 0-6 ahead. The second half was a more cagey affair. A goal for Dromid Pearses early on give them a little bit of hope. However, Templenoe despite not firing on all cylinders in this half, made absolute sure of their win with Brian Crowley completing his hat trick from the penalty spot in the final quarter. This result will come as welcome morale boost ahead of the commencement of the County League in a fortnight’s time.

South KerrySFL Rd 2

Templenoe 0-07, St Michaels/Foilmore 1-15.

Templenoe were well beaten in our first home game of the year by a strong St Michael/Foilmore outfit. But despite concerns prior to this fixture that Templenoe might not have 15 players available, we thankfully ended up with 19 players lining out on the day and all saw game time. As for the match itself, St Michaels/Foilmore dominated from the start and raced into 0-09 to 0-02 lead by half time. Templenoe did succeed in upping the scoring in the second half, but a goal from the visitors full forward Matthew O’Sullivan early in the third quarter killed off any faint hopes of a comeback.
