Templenoe GAA Club Notes - 29th April
GAA Lotto:
The numbers drawn on Monday, 22nd April were 17, 27, 28 and Bonus no. 5. No Jackpot Winner. Congratulations to our spot prize winners: ROK Voucher – Timothy O’Shea, €50 –Eileen Reilly.
The Jackpot for our Lotto draw on Monday, 29th April was €11,800.

Credit Union County SFL Division 2 Round 5 Fixture:
John Mitchels 1-09, Templenoe 1-09. Our senior footballers drew away to John Mitchels last Sunday.
Templenoe will play our neighbours Kenmare Shamrocks next Saturday (Throw-in time to be confirmed) in round 6 of the competition. All support very welcome for this local derby game.
All-Ireland Senior and U20 Football Championships 2024:
Wishing Tadhg, Adrian, Killian and the Kerry senior footballers the best of luck in the Munster Final against Clare in Ennis next Sunday.
Best wishes also to Aidan Crowley and the Kerry U20s team versus Cork in the Munster U20 Football Final this Wednesday evening in Tralee. The Kerry U20s defeated Tipperary at Austin Stack Park in round 3 last week on a scoreline of 1-15 to 1-10.
Underage Football Results:
Lee Strand County U15 Division 5A League game result: Na Fianna narrowly lost to Ballyduff by two points last Wednesday evening in Sneem.
Lee Strand County U13 League, Division 11, Phase 1 round 5 result: Na Fianna B lost at home to Ardfert B last Sunday evening in Templenoe.

Credit Union County SFL Division 2 Round 4 Fixture:
Templenoe 1-12 Ardfert 3-10. Our senior footballers lost out to Ardfert in Templenoe last Sunday, with the concession of the three goals proving costly after the hosts had a bright opening quarter. Templenoe will play John Mitchels away next weekend in round 5 of the competition. All support welcome.
All-Ireland Senior and U20 Football Championships 2024:
Well done to Tadhg, Adrian, Killian and the Kerry senior footballers on their win over Cork in the Munster Senior Football Championship Semi-Final last Saturday.
Well done also to Aidan Crowley and the Kerry U20s team that defeated Cork in the second round of the Munster U20 Football Championship last week. The Kerry U20s are due to play Tipperary this Wednesday evening in round 3 and we wish Aidan and the team all the best.
Underage Football Results:
Keane’s SuperValu County Minor League Division 3 Final: Hard luck to the Na Fianna minor footballers who narrowly lost to Glenflesk/Kilgarvan after an exciting game last Monday evening. The final score was 3-08 to 1-11. The Templenoe players involved were Jack Wiggans, Micheal O’Mahony, Caoilte OhUrdail, Josh Lehane, Shay Mulvanny and Mark Foley.
Lee Strand County U15 League Division 5A round 4 result: Gneeveguilla 1-9, Na Fianna 3-16.
Lee Strand County U13 League, Division 5, Phase 1 round 4 result: Na Fianna lost at home to Legion.
Munster LGFA U16 A Championship Final:
Congratulations to Doireann O’Neill Blackwater, Muireann Rochford and the Kerry U16 girls on their Munster Final win over Cork last Sunday on a score line of 0-12 to 0-14.

The Keane’s Supervalu County League Division 3 final between Na Fianna and Glenflesk/Kilgarvan was due to be played on Monday, 15th April. Na Fianna defeated Churchill in the semi-final last week on a scoreline of 1-12 to 1-08.
Lee Strand County U15 League Division 5A round 4 fixture: Na Fianna are due to play Gneeveguilla away this Wednesday evening at 7pm.
Lee Strand County U13 League, Division 5, Phase 1 round 3 result Na Fianna lost away to Kerins O’Rahillys.
Na Fianna U13s are scheduled to play Fossa at home venue in the next round on Sunday, Sunday 21st April at 6pm.
The Templenoe U11 footballers are due to play their second Go Games group match on Thursday, 18th April away to Glenbeigh/Glencar.

Glenflesk/Kilgarvan 3-08, Na Fianna 1-11
Na Fianna lost out to Glenflesk/Kilgarvan in the Keanes SuperValu County Minor Football League Final.
It was a very exciting match with Glenflesk/Kilgarvan only finally pulling away in the last five minutes by scoring the last three points
